I am Rodrigo Rodríguez, also known simply as Ro.

I come from Central America, now based in New Orleans, LA.

I studied Sociology & Social Communication, and my passion is on technology.

I have 10+ years of experience in strategic digital communication, journalism innovation, and information security, working at the intersection of technology and human rights.

Skilled in project management, content strategy, web development, data management, and digital literacy for civil society organizations, journalists and human rights activists, with a focus on making complex ideas easy to understand and implement.

Deeply involved in the Free Software Movement and broader open knowledge communities, also serving as spokesperson/organizer for global conferences on free software and Internet rights. I believe in the commons, equality and freedom.
